Gilberton Shaken by a Big Sensation
It was 130+ years ago that our Great-Grandfather, Franklin Louis Madara, made a discovery that would shake the town of Gilberton, PA. Frank suspected that his wife, our Great-Grandmother, Anna Violet Louise Fritz, was fooling around with the local Doctor, so he set a trap, asking the doctor to check in on his sick wife while he was out of town. Instead, Frank waited in the bushes, with a view through the window, until he caught his wife and the doctor in flagrante delicto. Frank was furious, and rushed into the house with his revolver drawn!

If you want to know the rest of the story, read the articles below. The reporters at the end of the 19th century were more poetically descriptive of the situation than I could possibly be.  (click on image to enlarge)
