To celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary in 1997, BJ & I planned a 3-week tour of Europe, which we fondly refer to as our "21 Cities in 21 Days Tour." We were exhausted by the end of our trip, but also hooked on travelling to Europe. From 1997 to 2017 we made nine trips across the pond, including several journeys to my ancestral roots in Wales, Germany and Switzerland. Then Covid happened.
To help us plan our trips, I became a regular member of the "Fodor's Forum", where like-minded travelers can share their knowledge of travelling through different countries around the world. Writing under the name "Artstuff," after each trip I would post a detailed "trip report," which always included travel tips that I had picked up during our journey. Needless to say, I was shocked and thrilled when Fodor's started using some of my tips in their travel guides to Amsterdam & the Netherlands 1st edition; Germany 24th edition; Italy 2008 & 2009; and New York City 2011 & 2012.
